Description

Towards the western part of the Istrian peninsula you will find Sveti Lovreč. This hidden gem is one of the best preserved medieval fortified towns in Istria. The settlement got its name from the small church of St. Lawrence, which dates back to the 8th century, while the Romanesque bell tower was added in the 11th century, and is located not far from the settlement - in the local cemetery.

The circular shape of the settlement dates back to prehistoric times, when there was a castle on the same hill. Already in the Byzantine era, Lovreč was fortified with ramparts and towers, which were later thoroughly renovated on several occasions, and most of the fortifications visible today originate from the Venetian era, when Sveti Lovreč was the headquarters of the military administration of the entire Venetian part of Istria - the so-called Pazenatic.

This house under construction with a swimming pool is located in the very heart of the old town.

The ground floor consists of a spacious living room, kitchen and dining room, while on the first floor there are two bedrooms, each with its own bathroom and access to the balcony.

In the yard there is a swimming pool with a sunbathing area and a summer kitchen.
